Two years ago I stumbled across a website that would change my life. The concept is simple. Take the basics of the stock exchange and apply it to the world of gambling to create a scenario where bets can be placed for a selection to win and lose. This virtually eliminates the risk aspect! Currency markets are replaced by the sports of horse racing, football, tennis, etc. You name it, there’s a market for it. Add to this a daily cash flow of millions and you have a recipe to apply the rules of the stock market in an arena that moves with greater momentum and vigour, thus providing the potential for rapid returns. Six months after dabbling in this new world I started to see how people were trading these markets to literally guarantee profit, no matter what the result of an event. They weren’t gambling, they were trading!
As an example, imagine carrying out a trade on a horse race, safe in the knowledge that you’ll be in profit no matter what the result! Win / Lose. It’s irrelevant!
I tried to carry out my own trading online but the results were poor. I was always that one step behind the rest. With that in mind I thought there must be a better way.
I searched the web and found several software packages. Bought them, tested them and never used them again. They just didn’t cut the mustard for what I wanted to do… make money!
At the start of 2006, after watching a football match being trading for over 4 million pounds I decided that I finally had to bite the bullet. The only way to make a success of trading on Betfair, to make a success that scooped up bucket loads of cash that was literally waiting there for me, would be to create my own software package that worked! |
